GAGLE/STEELE ESTATES

These antiques came from the Henry Steele estate and his daughter, Rose Steele Gagle, who died in 1963 at the age of 86. These were passed on to Ethel Reed Gagle, who died 8/17/2002 at the age of 96. These items are in excellent condition and are very old. They were imported by Henry Steele from France, Germany and England in the 1800s. Mr. Steele had $145,000 in the bank back when bread was 5 cents a loaf. At one time, Mr. Steele had the governors of three states for dinner. The states of Kentucky, Tennessee and Ohio.
