Enter The Cyber-Spy

By: Editor

Just when you thought the days of spying and espionage was about over, a new disturbing side comes to recent light.

You wouldn't think a large business would need to worry about what other governments are doing, but recently companies have been hacked - and not by your average street hacker - but elite government hackers, working for the military and infrastructure of countries that will surprise you.

Alleged hacking activities have been blamed on:
Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United Kingdom & The United
States of America.

Using a complicated military network; code named Echelon, these governments have been able to spy on some large international corporations.

This information is bad enough, but gets worse when it is revealed the information extracted was actually transferred to their biggest competitors.

Two large companies have lost contracts from these alleged activities.

Echelon comprises of more than 120 satellites, countless telephone lines and many Internet access points; originally designed to eavesdrop on hostile embassies.

Security experts claim the NSA has used such tactics for years for different questionable purposes.

It seems the only line of defense for the corporations is using heavy encryption schemes, which can still be cracked with the large government lab super-computers.
