MP3 Players On The Cheap

By: The Editor

If you didn't get a MP3 player for Christmas, now is your chance to
make Christmas come early this year.

Hack #1
Our preferred cheap MP3 player is to take a Sony Playstation
game console, and convert it into a MP3 player.
The Playstation can be purchased for $99 and is available in
almost any superstore - such as Wal-Mart.

You will need an older model, or you can buy a hack kit to add a
port to the new model. You will need to go here to buy a
Parallel Port Kit:
Interesting-Devices

The conversion device, which fits snugly into the back of the unit,
is available for: $35.00 USD.

The ports are available from numerous sources. We carry the
entire kits as well. You can email us here: MP3@uscities.net

Hack #2
Get a Book PC, which is a "mini" PC about the size of a phone
book, it being a "bare bones" system, to get it working can be either
as cheap or expensive; depending on what parts are added.

The Book PC is around $189 for a CD-ROM and slightly more for a
DVD-ROM version.
